“A Night on the Town” begins a three-day event when downtown retailers stay open late and local choirs, dance groups, and clubs provide entertainment to downtown visitors. On Waterfront Park, bring your chairs and a blanket while enjoying a double movie feature, Dr. Suess’s, The Grinch, and Elf. Hot cocoa and popcorn provided by Jamie Peart at J.P. Signature Group and Ty O’Farrell from Farm Bureau.
Santa Claus lights the city’s official Christmas tree and the Parris Island Marine Corps Rock Band performs holiday hits. Late-night shopping takes place from 6pm to 9pm, with the Christmas tree lighting up at 8pm!
